Who I Am
I'm Johnathan Wong, a Senior Technical Support Engineer at Semgrep and a software engineer with roots in full-stack development, blockchain, cloud infrastructure, and adtech. I've been building things in tech since 2012, across industries ranging from healthcare and education to digital advertising.
I work across the MERN stack, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development on AWS and Google Cloud. I've built blockchain certificate platforms, designed scalable microservices with Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ, and set up CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes.
At Meta, I advised clients on technical implementations across the ads ecosystem, covering signals, measurement, and delivery, and worked closely with sales on priority accounts and technical strategy.
I hold four AWS certifications and enjoy keeping up with new tech.
